Elizabeth Shine

LPC

Hello, my name is Elizabeth Shine, and I recently have completed Gottman's level 2 training for Couples. I have also completed and are offering in person 8-week classes or weekend retreats for Gottman's' The Seven Principles for Making Marriage work. These trainings are empowering relationships and cultivating growth. Let's unlock the secret to a lasting relationship. 

Lindsey Pautler

LPC

Hello, my name is Lindsey Pautler and I am a counselor here at Encouraging Hope Counseling! I am excited to announce I will be starting my journey to becoming a Certified Play Therapist April 28-29, 2023. I am looking forward to working with children to enhance the skills I will be learning. This will be a great addition to already working with various mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorders, PTSD, and many others. I offer targeted psychotherapy methods and research based on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to guide individuals on a self-discovery journey to feeling better and learning effective ways of coping with diverse situations. Melissa Eaton

Counseling Intern

Hello! My name is Melissa Eaton, and I am a graduate student working towards my master’s degree in clinical mental health at Lindenwood University. While obtaining my degree at Lindenwood University, I will be working as a counseling intern here at Encouraging Hope Counseling, LLC, seeing clients who can not afford to pay for counseling out of pocket. I have experience working with children who have social emotional needs, and also those who have experienced childhood trauma. During our sessions together I will use talk therapy to help you process and work through your thoughts, emotions, and trauma. I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to express their life experiences in a safe environment, I look forward to being that safe place for you.
